There are many subplots and parallel stories with this however all of them have a purpose and all of them are relevant to the story making Chekhov’s gun principle an important element of this story. He is hired by inspector Bejoy to drive a lorry carrying drugged police officers to the hospital to save their lives and then onto the police commissioners office to ensure that the drug-pedalling gang does not lay their hands on the drugs. After a few frames, the movie introduces us to the lead actor Karthi whose introduction is a low-key affair but well-chiselled to show his character and his relevance to the film’s plot. The movie starts with a grim tone diving head on to the main subject with the first few frames being the drugs being seized and the lead investigator inspector Bejoy briefing his team about the perils in their path.
